Good Friday OOTN

Happy Easter Weekend! I hope you're all having a lovely time with family and friends, with the added bonus of a long weekend! For Good Friday I was out with a few old school friends for a few cocktails and a long overdue catch up. After spending so much time working on uni projects I was very excited to get dressed up in one of my new outfits! The Topshop skirt has appeared in an OOTD here but I thought it looked fantastic with my new Zara blouse, H&M necklace and Oasis blazer for a more evening look. They will be appearing in a style post (with links) over the next few days which I can't wait to share with you!

Had to include a photo of the French martinis! What are your plans for the Easter weekend?

OOTN - Floral Monochrome Co-ord

If you read my post Co-ords: My High Street Picks, you'll know that I've been in the market for my first Co-ord; I find the style really interesting and flattering on most shapes. I spotted this set in Miss Selfridge a few weeks ago and couldn't resist - there was also a 20% student discount promotion which helped to justify the purchase! As you can see, I didn't wear any statement jewellery for this look as I didn't want to draw any attention away from the amazing monochrome floral print. The occasion for this outfit was a night out at University; please ignore the map - it was someone else's house!

Decided to get my face painted..

Top - Miss Selfridge, £18
Skirt - Miss Selfridge, £25

Are you a fan of co-ords? What do you think of this one?

OOTN - H is for Houndstooth

Last weekend I was treated to a fancy family meal as a celebration of the official end of my summer and the start of my second year at uni. It was great to dress up for an evening out and I opted for a classic monochrome outfit consisting of my white Topshop blouse and my Houndstooth skirt. I was feeling very 'Rachel Zane' sophisticated and this style of outfit would also be suitable for drinks out or a party.

Blouse - Topshop
Skirt - New Look
Flats - Topshop
Necklace - Dorothy Perkins

Are you a fan of monochrome? Also, I'm always looking to discover new fashion blogs so feel free to leave your website in the comments section!

OOTN - Lady in Lace

As a pre-uni Topshop splurge, I decided to treat myself to these gorgeous black lace shorts. My well loved pair from Miss Selfridge were in need of a replacement and I'd been lusting after these for a while. Even though they were a pricey £34 - not including student discount - I know they'll go with all my evening tops and can be worn all year round. I wore them on a spontaneous night out with friends last week and I can tell they are going to be a staple piece in my wardrobe.

Top - Zara
Nails - OPI Pamplona Purple

The gang!

Are you a fan of lace? I can't seem to get enough of this trend at the moment!

OOTN - Berry Brights

After a long and stressful week, I was lucky enough to be out Friday night for some drinks with two of my closest pals and some old friends from high school. I absolutely love getting all dressed up and here's what I wore..

My theme of outfit was 'Berry Brights' and although the weather didn't really require a jacket, I wanted an excuse to wear my new dark purple blazer bought this week!

Top - New Look
Skirt - Zara
Wedges - Rieker
Clutch - New Look
Bracelet - Thomas Sabo

What's your go-to outfit for nights out? Are you a classic LBD girl (Audrey-style) or are do you prefer bold colours to make a statement?
I'd love to know!
