There have been so many amazing new beauty launches recently that have got the beauty bloggers talking. From Anastasia Beverly Hills to Becca to Charlotte Tilbury, there's always something making its way into my mental wishlists. Today's post is all about the beauty products I've been coveting in May, some of which I am planning to purchase soon, others are if I was suddenly given a $100 Sephora gift card. But since June is my birthday month, there's a definite possibility I'll be gettting splurgey with my bank account. Watch this space. But for now, the products I've been dreaming about (quite literally) are as follows..
I'm sure I'm not the only one who is crazy excited about the new Benefit Brow collection which launches in the UK on the 24th June. There's a huge range of products to choose from, so whether you're looking for a pencil, gel or pomade, Benefit has you covered. The product I'm most intrigued by is the Ka-Brow cream-gel which is designed to give your brows more definition, shape and colour - I'll be interested to see how it compares to my all-time favourite brow hero Gimme Brow and whether they can even work together. If you're wanting to try out something from the new collection before June 24th, make sure you pick up a copy of Elle magazine next month as it includes a free Goof Proof pencil.
There hasn't been too many new foundations in the drugstore but the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Cushion Foundation seems to be getting some attention recently. It is supposed to be a light to medium dewy coverage in an easy to use compact format. I'm not sure about the sponge application but I'm curious to try it out. It's currently selling at an introductory price of £9.99 at Boots so now is the time!
I've always wanted to try out something from the Charlotte Tilbury collection and the new Instant Look in a Palette release offers three eyeshadows, two blushes, a bronzer and a highlighter - the perfect product for a CT newbie such as myself. Unfortunately the palette is currently out of stock on the Charlotte Tilbury website but there is still limited available at a few UK department stores such as John Lewis.
Another palette I've been eyeing up is the Becca x Jacyln Hill Champagne Face palette. I haven't had the chance to go into Space NK and swatch the infamous Champagne Pop highlighter but from photos it looks beautiful. The limited edition face palette includes two powder highlighters - Champagne Pop and Prosecco Pop, two highlighting blushes and a bronzey shade. Depending on how eye-watering the price is, I'm tempted to invest in this gorgeous travel-friendly beauty that every beauty blogger is moving mountains to get hold of. At the moment there has only been a presale on Sephora.com but it should be in Space NK stores around the end of June.
If I decide not to get the Champagne Face Palette, I'm also interested in the Becca Blushed Radiance Kit. Similar to Charlotte Tilbury, it's sold out for now but there's an online wait list on CultBeauty.com which sounds promising! The kit includes a mini Backlight Priming Filter, a mini Shimmerng Skin Perfector in Opal, a mini Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight Wand in Moonstone and a mini Mineralise Blush in the shade Flowerchild. At £28.00 the kit contains so many products to try out and handy travel sizes that will probably still take forever to hit pan.
Skincare-wise, I really want to try out a few new brands such as Vichy, Kiehls and Caudalie. The Caudalie Beauty Elixir Spray is well known in the beauty world and it can be used to set makeup and refresh the face in hot weather. I hope it lives up to the hype!
I hope you enjoyed this post and if you're a fan of wishlists, you should check out my blogger friend Becky's recent New In Beauty Wishlist post which includes everything from Urban Decay to Rosie H-W at M&S.
